Hi, I’m Omowumi Akinlofa, LGPC, NCC, founder of Wumex Mental Health Services. I am a mental health clinician and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology, currently providing services under approved clinical supervision in accordance with Maryland licensure requirements.

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional difficulties, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-informed, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.

I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs.
